1. Overview
WX-F3101 phosphating agent is composed of zinc oxide, phosphate, etc. It is suitable for surface treatment of cold rolled plate, steel plate and hot tie plate before coating, so that a layer of water insoluble phosphate film is formed on the metal surface to improve the adhesion of the coating to the metal surface and inhibit the corrosion under the film of the coating.

 

2. method of use   
Process conditions: soaking, swimming immersion.
Process flow: degreasing-water washing-derusting-water washing-phosphating-water washing-passivation (whether passivation is required according to performance test requirements or anti-rust effect of plates)-water washing-drying.
Tank allocation: calculate the working volume m3 of phosphating tank, first inject 3/4 tank clear water, add WX-F3101 phosphating agent with an amount of 6kg/m3, and add water to the working liquid level.

Free acid: 3.0-6.0 point
Detection method:
Total acid: take 10ml of working solution, inject it into conical flask, add 30 ml of water, add 2-3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, titrate with 0.1N NaOH standard solution, the solution changes from colorless to pink as the end point, and the ml number of standard solution consumed by titration is the total acid number of this solution.
Free acid: take 10ml of working solution, inject it into conical flask, add 30 ml of water, add 2-3 drops of bromophenol blue indicator, titrate with 0.1N NaOH standard solution, the solution changes from yellow to light blue as the end point, and the ml number of standard solution consumed by titration is the number of free acid points of this solution.








 

4. tank maintenance
1. Master the phosphating time and supplementary materials with the chromaticity of the phosphating film. The phosphating film is blue, purple and yellow.
2, in the working process of rust from the workpiece into the solution, so the iron content in the phosphating solution and the total acidity will gradually rise, so the workpiece film (color) speed will slow down, if the phosphating with liquid drying is also prone to hanging ash. When the iron content in the phosphating solution is greater than 1.5g/L, it can be washed, passivated and dried after phosphating. When the iron content is ≥ 3.0g/L, or the total acidity is ≥ 36 points, it is recommended to replace the phosphating solution partially or completely.
3. In the phosphating process, attention should be paid to shaking the workpiece and removing the air bag. For densely loaded workpieces or slender tubular parts, the workpiece should be raised to the liquid level and then immersed in the solution many times to update the solution contacting the workpiece. The phosphating time is generally 10 minutes, and the densely loaded parts should be appropriately extended.
4, add 4G agent per ton of tank total acid increased by about 1 point; Add 2KG of free acid per ton of tank and increase by about 0.1 points.




 

5. considerations
1, each process must be cleaned;
2, into the phosphating workpiece to ensure that oil, rust clean;
3. The time interval from the completion of phosphating to coating shall not exceed 16 hours;
4. When working in an environment with good ventilation conditions, the operator should wear safety protective equipment. If the liquid medicine touches the skin or eyes, it should be rinsed with clean water immediately. In severe cases, medical treatment should be sought.
