The solvent cost of water-based paint is 66 yuan/L lower than that of solvent-based paint.
(3) Operation cost analysis of spray booth
The operating expenses of solvent-based coatings mainly include electricity charges (150-170 yuan/day) for heating of baking room, fan circulation, lighting lamps, maintenance of baking room equipment and replacement of air filter screen. The operating expenses of water-based paint mainly include temperature and humidity control in the painting room, heating of baking room, fan circulation, blower, lighting lamps and other electricity charges (80-100 yuan/day), replacement of air filter screen and maintenance of baking room equipment. Compared with the solvent-based paint, the operating cost is also reduced, mainly using infrared lamp local heating, to avoid the spray booth all air heating caused by energy waste.
(4) Environmental protection cost analysis
According to the requirements of spray paint exhaust emissions, water-based paint coating process can adopt a simple activated carbon adsorption process, according to the treatment of air volume of 10000 m3/h, the environmental protection cost of water-based paint is about 120 yuan/day. The concentration of solvent-based paint waste gas is about 20 times higher than that of water-based paint, and its coating process needs to adopt adsorption technology. The environmental protection cost of solvent-based paint is about 320 yuan/day based on the treatment air volume of 10000 m3/h.
(5) Invisible cost analysis of staff health
The use of solvent-based coatings will produce a large number of benzene, toluene, xylene and other strong carcinogenic VOCs, the use of solvent-based coatings staff health hidden costs. The solvent of water-based paint is water, which is non-toxic and harmless, and the health invisible cost of the staff using water-based paint is small.
